Locomotive, High Speed Train and Electric Train levels keep learners chugging down the PD track. Check out the competition at [@OxnardUExpress](https://twitter.com/OxnardUExpress)! "The Oxnard Union High School District vision is one of high expectations and powerful futures for *every *student." OUHSD serves almost 20,000 students at ten schools, which include six high schools and four continuation high schools. They offer comprehensive career and college readiness programs, and use the "academy model" at two of their schools. This model focuses on Career Technical Education, PBL, and Work-Based Learning.  > “Participating in OU Express has made me a better teacher. It puts professional development right in my hands, without having to give up hours after school or on the weekend, or having to spend time trying to figure out where to get the funding to attend.” — Allison Holicky, Pacifica High School > “OU Express takes professional development to a new level. Who knew staff learning could be so fun. I’ve gone in with a good knowledge of tech, but have still learned so much, in more areas than just tech. It’s also allowed me to collaborate with several members of my staff that I might not have worked with.” — -Jeff Jackson, Computer teacher at Camarillo High School > “I am being pushed to practice edtech skills and creating activities and learning materials for students. The competition adds an extra incentive- I want to beat others and I want HHS to get on top!” — Shaughn Lybrand, SPED teacher at Hueneme High School [![You Matter: The Human Element in The Age of AI](https://blog.alludolearning.com/hubfs/Alludo%20RCOE%20%231%20Featured%20Image-1.png) ](https://blog.alludolearning.com/you-matter-the-human-element-in-the-age-of-ai) #### [You Matter: The Human Element in The Age of AI](https://blog.alludolearning.com/you-matter-the-human-element-in-the-age-of-ai) [Damon Torgerson](https://blog.alludolearning.com/author/damon-torgerson): May 7, 2026 12:00:08 PM [ai tools](https://blog.alludolearning.com/tag/ai-tools) [generative ai](https://blog.alludolearning.com/tag/generative-ai) [Read More](https://blog.alludolearning.com/you-matter-the-human-element-in-the-age-of-ai) [![Introducing the Alludo Calendar: All Your PD, In One Place](https://blog.alludolearning.com/hubfs/community-calendar.png) ](https://blog.alludolearning.com/introducing-the-alludo-calendar-all-your-pd-in-one-place) #### [Introducing the Alludo Calendar: All Your PD, In One Place](https://blog.alludolearning.com/introducing-the-alludo-calendar-all-your-pd-in-one-place) [Damon Torgerson](https://blog.alludolearning.com/author/damon-torgerson): Apr 13, 2026 10:27:29 AM Professional development doesn't always happen online.
