New Science Game Available!

We’ve been hard at work adding original content to the Alludo catalog, and we’d like to introduce you to our new Science game! The game is made up of three different levels that will take players from a basic introduction to NGSS & the 5E’s to creating their own meaningful lesson plans built around science standards and concepts. Topics include:

  • Interactive science notebooks

  • Using phenomena to drive instruction

  • Integrating science and literacy

  • Thinking maps

  • And more!

Take an inside look at one of our new activities:

Activity

Flipped Learning is a pedagogical approach in which direct instruction moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the resulting group space is transformed into a dynamic, interactive learning environment where the educator guides students as they apply concepts and engage creatively in the subject matter.

In this activity, you'll recreate an existing lesson so that it not only aligns with the 5E instructional model but it is also flipped. When updating your chosen lesson, keep in mind that the 5E model can be iterative and that the "5E sequence can be effective for sequences of lessons within a multi-week unit and to the individual activities within a single day’s lesson plan" (Simani, 2017).

Read through the linked items in the Resources section to learn about resources, tools, and information that is useful for developing a 5E lesson.
