Professional development doesn't always happen online. Workshops, walkthroughs, coaching sessions, and cohort meetings are still a big part of how educators grow — and keeping everyone informed about when and where those events happen has always been a little harder than it should be.
That's why we built the Alludo Calendar.
The Alludo Calendar lets your organization publish, promote, and manage both in-person and virtual trainings — all from within the platform your educators already use every day.
No more forwarding Zoom links in emails. No more last-minute "what room is that in?" messages. Learners can see what's coming, plan ahead, and add events directly to their Google, Outlook, or Apple calendar in a single click — with all the details already filled in.
The calendar lives at two levels inside Alludo.
The organization calendar is your district-wide or org-wide view — perfect for publishing trainings and events that are open to everyone. Learners can browse by list, week, month, or year, so they always have the view that works best for them.
The course calendar is scoped to a specific course. If you're running a blended learning series, a recurring cohort, or any course that includes a live training component, the course calendar keeps those sessions organized and visible to exactly the right people.
When you create an event, you can set the title, date, time, time zone, and location — whether that's a Zoom link, Google Meet, a physical room, or a generic link for tools like Microsoft Teams. You can even upload a custom background image to give the event card a branded, polished look.
And for recurring trainings, one setup is all it takes. Set your frequency and number of sessions, save, and the full series auto-populates. Learners get the complete schedule at a glance — and can add every session to their personal calendar at once.
We put together a short walkthrough showing exactly how the calendar works — from navigating to it for the first time, to creating a recurring Zoom series inside a course.
The Alludo Calendar is available now. If you'd like help thinking through how it fits into your professional development program, reach out to your Alludo customer success manager — we'd love to help you get started.
