John Middleton is the assistant principal at ACE Charter High School in Camarillo, CA. He has been a part of ACE since 2011. Through his efforts, ACE has gone from one of the lowest-performing schools in the county to one of the highest performing. While at ACE, John has helped to authorize the school’s International Baccalaureate Career-related Studies Programme; the first in the nation with a career-related studies program in construction.
Kurt's 35+ years in education include teaching and coaching along with administrative and leadership as an assistant principal and principal, and Superintendent of Schools in two different California schools districts. Kurt earned his M.A. with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology, from San Diego State University.
